Key Iranian Military Figures Eliminated in Recent Strikes

President Trump declared on Sunday that several prominent Iranian military figures were eliminated in a recent U.S. strike in Tehran, part of the ongoing military collaboration between the U.S. and Israel.

“Many of Iran’s Military Leaders, who have led them poorly and unwisely, are terminated, along with much else, with this massive strike in Tehran!” he shared on Truth Social, alongside a video showcasing the operation posted by him.

Specific details regarding the identities of those killed remain unverified, and information about the overall timing, target specifics, or casualty numbers is yet limited to the president’s announcement and the accompanying video.

This strike marks the continuation of U.S. and Israeli military operations throughout Iran, now ongoing for six weeks. The focus has been on dismantling military infrastructure, missile installations, and leadership centers.

Israeli forces have also been active, striking over 200 sites across Iran and Lebanon. Targets included a petrochemical facility in Mahshahr and a mobile missile launcher located in Tabriz.

Earlier in the same day, Trump threatened to intensify military actions if critical shipping routes like the Strait of Hormuz, through which a significant portion of global oil exports pass, remain blocked. “Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD!” the president stated.

The White House announced a pause in public appearances from the president around 11:08 a.m. Sunday, signaling he would remain in the Oval Office to receive continuous updates on national security matters.

The recent strikes in Tehran align with a series of confirmed attacks that have targeted high-ranking officials since February 28. This includes the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a raid on his compound.

Additional high-ranking military leaders, such as IRGC commander Mohammad Pakpour, Chief of the General Staff Abdolrahim Mousavi, and Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, also met their demise in similar strikes.

On March 17, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, was killed in an operation in the Pardis area, recognized by Pentagon officials as the IRGC’s de facto leader at that time.
