Timpf cherished the relationship between her son and grandfather, highlighting their regular visits and daily FaceTime calls. She poignantly remembered the last time she saw her father before his death, when her son helped him with luggage for a planned family trip.
At the conclusion of her statement, Timpf requested that her sister participate in a marathon for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center instead of flowers, a cause dear to her given her own treatment there last year. She also mentioned having to say goodbye to her cat, Cheens, just days before her father’s passing.
