Alexis Wilkins, a 26-year-old country music artist and conservative commentator, is pushing back hard against viral conspiracy theories accusing her of being an Israeli intelligence agent planted to compromise FBI Director Kash Patel.
In an appearance on The Megyn Kelly Show, Wilkins addressed the online rumors directly, calling them “insanely ridiculous” and emotionally harmful to both her and her family.
“These accusations are obviously insanely ridiculous and coming from accounts that are farming because their engagement dried up after Trump’s win,” Wilkins wrote on X.
“My happy relationship, my work, my Christian Faith, and my integrity speak for themselves.”
Conspiracy Theories Ignite After Epstein Memo
The smear campaign escalated after the July 6 DOJ-FBI memo concluded Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide and claimed no client list existed—a finding many Americans remain skeptical of. As pressure mounted on federal agencies, online activists shifted their focus to Patel and those close to him, including Wilkins.
Some conspiracy theorists falsely claimed Wilkins was Jewish and tied her to Israeli intelligence due to her past work with PragerU, a U.S.-based conservative media nonprofit. The CEO of PragerU once served in the Israeli military—a stretch conspiracy theorists seized on.
“A Horrible Accusation”
When asked directly by Megyn Kelly whether she is a spy for any foreign government, Wilkins responded firmly:
“Definitely not. That is a firm no on that front.”
Wilkins added that the attacks were especially painful because they implied she was manipulating the man she loves:
“The fact that it’s accusing me of manipulating the person that I love is a horrible accusation.”
She also shared how doxxing and harassment affected her and her family, explaining that she keeps her inner circle private to avoid internet mobs:
“There aren’t any interviews with my friends because I don’t want the internet to attack them.”
Kash Patel’s Reaction
Wilkins said Patel was frustrated by the personal toll the attacks have taken on her, calling it unjust for her to be dragged into criticism tied to his official role.
“He’s fine with people coming after him… But when it came to me, he was very unhappy, to say the least.”
Patel himself reshared Wilkins’ statement on X earlier this month, signaling public support amid the media storm.
On Epstein Files: “If People Stop Calling Me a Spy…”
When asked if she supports the release of more Epstein documents, Wilkins replied with dry humor:
“If people stop calling me a spy, absolutely.”
Standing Firm
Wilkins emphasized that her mission has always been aligned with conservative values, not covert agendas:
“I’ve spent my career saying no to anything that would compromise my character and working to restore America.”
