Jimmy Kimmel is reportedly “absolutely f–king livid” over ABC’s decision to suspend his late-night show.
The network pulled Jimmy Kimmel Live! indefinitely following backlash to his comments about Charlie Kirk’s assassination.
Kimmel’s Reaction
Producers say Kimmel erupted in anger when informed of the move.
“He is pissed and not taking this lightly,” one insider said.

Sources claim he is actively exploring ways to exit his contract with ABC.
The cancellation, they said, was the “last straw” for the 57-year-old comedian.
Insiders insist they have never seen him this angry with the network.
Kimmel accused the government of overreach and suppressing free speech.
He described the suspension as proof that free expression is under threat.
Controversial Remarks
Kimmel sparked outrage with his Monday night monologue.
He said conservatives were “desperately” trying to score political points from Kirk’s killing.

“We hit some new lows over the weekend,” Kimmel said of “the MAGA gang.”
His comments came just days after Kirk was shot in the neck at Utah Valley University.
Kirk, 31, was a married father of two and a close Trump ally.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has been arrested and charged with his murder.
Trump Responds
President Trump quickly celebrated the cancellation.
He called it “great news for America” on Truth Social.
Donald Trump
Trump said Kimmel had “ZERO talent” and “worse ratings than Colbert.”
He urged NBC to also cancel Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers.
“Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done,” Trump wrote.
Trump posted his remarks while on a state visit to the UK.
Broader Fallout
Nexstar Media Group confirmed it would preempt Kimmel’s show on affiliates.
Sinclair also announced it would not air the program without an apology.
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr said the decision marked a “turning point.”
Carr called Kimmel’s comments “sick” and damaging to public discourse.
He praised broadcasters for rejecting “progressive foie gras” from Hollywood.
The FCC chief said Disney and ABC must take further corrective steps.
Late-Night Landscape
Kimmel is the second late-night host to lose a show over controversy.
CBS announced in July that Stephen Colbert’s Late Show will end in 2026.
Colbert has reportedly reached out to Kimmel for a collaboration.
Both men are now seen as liberal figures targeted by Trump’s allies.
Kimmel’s program has aired on ABC since 2004 and is now in limbo.
