Israeli PM Netanyahu Responds to Dem Zohran Mamdani’s Threat to Arrest Him

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu brushed off a bizarre threat from radical Democrat and NYC mayoral nominee Zohran Mamdani, who vowed to arrest the Israeli leader if he visits New York.

“I’m not concerned about that,” Netanyahu said at the White House Monday night.
“This is folly and it’s silly in many ways… I’m going to come there with President Trump and we’ll see.”

President Donald Trump, seated beside Netanyahu during their working dinner, didn’t miss a beat:

“I’ll get him out.”

Who Is Mamdani?

Mamdani, a self-proclaimed democratic socialist (Trump calls him a communist), shocked the political world last month by defeating Andrew Cuomo in the Democrat primary.

He previously told Zeteo he would order Netanyahu’s arrest under the International Criminal Court’s warrant, which stems from Israel’s war against Hamas terrorists in Gaza.

“New York City would arrest Benjamin Netanyahu,” Mamdani bragged last year.
“Our values are in line with international law.”

Mamdani refuses to recognize Israel as a Jewish state and has long aligned with pro-Hamas rhetoric, slamming Netanyahu over the war and parroting anti-Israel talking points.

Trump Unloads

President Trump didn’t hold back in calling out Mamdani’s extremist record:

“This is a communist. He’s not a socialist. He’s a communist,” Trump said.
“He’s said some really bad things about Jewish people… and about a lot of people.”

“He’ll behave. He better behave. Otherwise, he’s going to have big problems.”

Trump also reminded Mamdani that federal funding to NYC could be on the chopping block if he steps out of line.

NYC’s High Stakes

  • NYC has 1.3 million Jews — the largest Jewish population of any city in the world.

  • It also has 750,000 Muslims, the highest of any U.S. city.

The 2025 mayoral race will determine whether the Big Apple aligns with terror apologists like Mamdani, or whether sanity returns to the nation’s largest city.
