ICE Drops Age Limit as 80,000 Apply for 10,000 Open Positions

The Department of Homeland Security has dropped the age requirement for new ICE agents as part of a massive recruitment campaign to tackle Biden’s border crisis. Americans as young as 18 can apply for positions.

Just one week in, more than 80,000 Americans have applied to join Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the change Wednesday, saying the goal is to get more patriots into the field to arrest murderers, rapists, gang members, pedophiles, and other criminal illegal aliens who’ve poured into the country under Joe Biden’s watch.

“We Are Ending the Age Cap”

Noem said ICE will now waive age limits for law enforcement recruits. All applicants will still have to pass a physical fitness test, medical screening, and drug test before joining the ranks.

“We are ENDING the age cap for ICE law enforcement,” Noem declared.

The policy is backed by federal funding from President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill”, offering incentives like:

  • Up to $50,000 signing bonus

  • Student loan forgiveness

  • AUI (Administratively Uncontrollable Overtime)

  • Enhanced retirement benefits

Americans can apply now at JOIN.ICE.GOV.

A Clear Shift from Biden-Era Weakness

The Trump administration blamed the move on Biden’s failed open-borders agenda, arguing that federal agents alone can’t clean up the mess left behind.

Under former DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the system crumbled so badly that he became the first cabinet secretary in nearly 150 years to be impeached.

Now, Trump’s team is leaning on public support—and getting it.

Surge in Patriot Support

Appearing on Fox & Friends Wednesday, Noem praised the response.

“It’s overwhelming to see the amount of support our ICE officers are getting. People across this country are saying, ‘We want to help.’”

The agency is aiming to fill 10,000 new officer positions. Noem emphasized that the flood of interest proves Americans are ready to take action and stand with ICE.

States Step Up Too

This announcement follows reports that Florida may open a second “Alligator Alcatraz” detention facility to hold illegals who’ve broken the law.

If more states join the fight, Trump officials believe the U.S. can restore order, cut crime, and send a clear message: There will be consequences for crossing the border illegally.
