Hillary Clinton, the former Secretary of State and two-time failed presidential candidate, gave a chilling warning about former President Donald Trump on a podcast hosted by Democratic election lawfare attorney Marc Elias.
In an interview for the “Defending Democracy” podcast, Clinton said that Trump would be “kill his opposition” or imprison them if he wins the presidency again.

She said that Trump would rather silence his opponents in the same way that authoritarian leaders like Vladimir Putin do. She said that Trump admires leaders who have too much power and jail or exile media and people who are critical of the government.
However, Donald Trump did not jail any political opponents during his time in office, nor did he authorize any assassinations, despite nearly universal negative news coverage, including numerous media hoaxes and misleading reports about the former president.
Clinton, in other words, is not basing her dangerous and divisive opinions about Donald Trump on any historical precedent.
“Trump was like, you know, just gaga over Putin because Putin does what Trump would like to do: Kill his opposition, imprison his opposition, drive journalists and others into exile, rule without any check or balance,” Clinton claimed without evidence.
“That’s what Trump really wants,” she went on. “And so we have to be very conscious of how he sees the world because, in that world, he only sees strongmen leaders. He sees Putin, he sees Xi, he sees Kim Jong-un in North Korea. Those are the people he is modeling himself after, and we’ve been down this road in our, you know, world history. We sure don’t want to go down that again.”
Hillary Clinton continued to fret about the possibility that Trump could be re-elected. She lamented that the U.S. could leave NATO, a Cold War institution founded to stop the threat of communism posed by the now-defunct Soviet Union, and she baselessly speculated that Trump would run the U.S. government as a totalitarian, again, without any evidence to back up her assertions.
“Withdrawing us from NATO, not caring about what happens with Europe, the idea that he wants Ukraine to fail. The idea that he doesn’t want us to be able to surveil our enemies. This is a very scary prospect,” she said.
There is much more evidence to support the argument that the Biden administration is trying to jail its political opponents than a potential Trump administration.
The Biden regime authorized an unprecedented raid on a former president with the FBI raid at Mar-a-Lago in September 2022, ostensibly to find documents on the Crossfire Hurricane op that Hillary Clinton fueled with the Steele dossier.
The Department of Justice illegally appointed Special Counsel Jack Smith to lead a vindictive and selectively prosecuted classified documents case, since President Biden was acquitted for being a ‘sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory’ despite lacking the ultimate declassification authority that Donald Trump had at the time of the alleged infraction.
Smith is also leading a probably unconstitutional January 6 probe, since former President Donald Trump was exonerated by Senate impeachment trial. Contrary to popular media misreporting about the event, the president did not “incite” the pre-planned riot, which took place amid intentionally lax security despite Trump’s calls for enhanced National Guard security during the election challenges.

There is also substantial evidence pointing to the Biden administration, the Department of Justice, and Congressional Democrats colluding to bring multiple criminal trials to “jail” former President Donald Trump, who is the leading presidential candidate in the 2024 race.
In the Georgia “racketeering” case over Donald Trump’s legal challenges to the 2024 election results, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her former special prosecutor Nathan Wade coordinated with the partisan J6 special committee and the White House’ counsel.
In Manhattan, Matthew Colangelo, a senior official in the U.S. Justice Department was transferred as senior counsel to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, prior to the announcement of the “hush money” investigation, raising serious concerns about the Biden administration coordinating to bring the criminal case and committing election interference.
Now, the partisan Judge Juan Merchan, whose daughter worked for prominent Democrats like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden, is threatening to jail Donald Trump if he misses a day of trial during the presidential campaign or violates the “gag order.”
Donald Trump’s political opposition on CNN is now actively rooting for the former president to be jailed, even if it causes “civil unrest” prior to the 2024 election.
Hillary Clinton is once again projecting her own views onto her political opposition. It is not a stretch to believe that there are partisan Democrats who would rather see Donald Trump dead than become president again. Thus, their dangerous claims that Donald Trump seeks to jail or “kill” his opposition should not be taken as an accusation so much as a warning.
