Gov’t THREATENS GOP Congressman For Sharing This Video

The House Sergeant at Arms has issued a warning to Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) regarding a $500 fine for sharing a video on X platform showing Democrats waving Ukraine flags while the House approved funding for Ukraine’s war effort against Russia. Massie stated that the video, captured from the House floor, seems to breach House regulations, despite the rule being frequently disregarded.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the video post has garnered more than 5.5 million views. In the caption, Massie, under the direction of Speaker Mike Johnson, highlights the U.S. House of Representatives’ apparent surrender without any victory in terms of border security. Interestingly, it appears that the Democrats themselves violated House rules by waving flags on the House floor, although none of them have publicly acknowledged any fines imposed on them.

During this spectacle, Representatives Chip Roy (R-TX) and Lauren Boebert (R-CO), along with others, swiftly approached the dais. Roy explicitly warned the Democrats that if they didn’t put the flags away immediately, he would utilize procedural votes to disrupt their travel plans. This threat prompted them to cease their flag-waving.

Subsequently, Roy and Boebert called upon Johnson to address the Democrats’ actions. After more than a minute, Johnson, with a smile on his face, informed the group that waving flags on the floor violated decorum. It is worth noting that the House Sergeant at Arms operates under the guidance of the Speaker or presiding officer. Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) seemed to hold Speaker Johnson responsible for the Sergeant at Arms’ threat and the perceived lack of fairness in the situation.

“Dems waved foreign flags, violating House decorum. No fine. No reaction,” he posted on X. “Massie recorded it & released it to the public. He’s threatened with a fine unless he deletes the video.

“Covering for Dems. Punishing Republicans. Not what I expected from the GOP majority.”
