Funeral Arrangements Announced for Charlie Kirk, Trump Confirms Attendance

Turning Point USA announced Saturday that a massive memorial service will be held next weekend to honor the life and legacy of its founder Charlie Kirk.

The event, titled “Building a Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk,” will take place on Sunday, Sept. 21, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Funeral Arrangements Details

State Farm Stadium, home to the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals, can seat more than 63,000 people.

For larger “mega-events,” its capacity expands to more than 73,000.

Organizers expect one of the largest gatherings in the history of Turning Point USA.

President Donald Trump confirmed he will attend Kirk’s memorial.

“Join us in celebrating the remarkable life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American legend,” TPUSA posted on X.

Doors open at 8 a.m., with the program beginning at 11 a.m.

Attendance will be first come, first served, according to the memorial website.

Those planning to attend can register online.

The event is expected to draw supporters from across the country.

A tribute posted on the site highlights Kirk’s devotion to faith, family, and freedom.

It notes that he founded Turning Point USA at just 18 years old in a Lemont, Illinois garage.

That effort later grew into “one of the most powerful grassroots movements in America.”

“Charlie died doing what he loved: fighting for truth, for faith, for family, and for America,” the tribute reads.

“His sacrifice will endure as a guiding light for generations.”

The message calls Kirk’s life proof that “truth must never be silenced” and “freedom must be protected at all costs.”

The tribute also referenced scripture from Matthew 25:23.

“And now he hears the words of his Lord and Savior: ‘Well done, good and faithful servant,’” it read.

Supporters said the verse reflected Kirk’s personal commitment to his Christian faith.

Kirk’s Assassination

Kirk was shot and killed Wednesday at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

He was speaking at a Turning Point USA “Prove Me Wrong” event when a single bullet struck his neck.

The 31-year-old husband and father of two was rushed to Timpanogos Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Turning Point USA leaders said the memorial will not only honor Kirk but also serve as a call to action.

His widow, Erika, has vowed to continue his mission through upcoming campus tours.

“His legacy will endure for generations,” the group said.
