Fox News White House correspondents Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich will rotate hosting duties on a new weekend program launching later this month, the network announced Wednesday.
“The Sunday Briefing” Launch
The show, titled The Sunday Briefing, will premiere Sept. 21 and air Sundays from 11 a.m. to noon ET.
Doocy and Heinrich will alternate as solo anchors each week, with the program focusing heavily on White House coverage and policy developments.

Fox said the program will “tackle all facets of the White House beat,” including President Donald Trump’s national and international moves.
Doocy, a frequent presence in the White House briefing room, said the new program will bring the same energy viewers see during daily press briefings.
“White House briefings have become must-see TV over the last few years and now, so is The Sunday Briefing,” Doocy wrote on X. “See you a week from Sunday at 11am!”
Heinrich, who has covered the White House since 2021, will also take turns leading the show.

Her promotion comes as she balances a busy personal life — in July, she announced her engagement to Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.).
The Doocy-Heinrich show will replace MediaBuzz, long hosted by Howie Kurtz.
Kurtz will transition to a new role as a political media analyst for the network.
“I’m extraordinarily proud of the program, which was number one for over 12 years and built a loyal audience,” Kurtz said.
Kayleigh McEnany’s New Show
Former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany will host a new Saturday program, Saturday in America, from 10 a.m. to noon ET.
The show will feature political guests and conversations about the week’s major headlines.
McEnany will continue co-hosting Fox’s Outnumbered during the week.
Other Weekend Moves
Fox also announced that Griff Jenkins will join Fox & Friends Weekend as a co-host alongside Rachel Campos-Duffy and Charlie Hurt.
Meanwhile, The Big Weekend Show will expand to three hours on both Saturdays and Sundays, with Tomi Lahren and Johnny Joey Jones named among its four permanent co-hosts.
Network Statement
Fox News Media President Jay Wallace said the refreshed lineup underscores the network’s dominance in cable news.
“As we expand and innovate our weekend programming, we are proud to bring our audience unrivaled depth and expertise,” Wallace said.
He added that Kurtz will remain an “important authority” on media analysis in his new role.
