Allegedly Attacked Boyfriend

According to police documents obtained by the Daily Mail, Eckhart allegedly attacked her boyfriend, Thomas Beasley, after he ended their relationship.

Beasley told officers she began knocking items over, struck him, and ripped his shirt while screaming and demanding he delete video evidence of the incident.

Police say the footage showed Eckhart striking Beasley, yelling, and becoming combative.

Comes After Rape Lawsuit Settlement

The arrest follows Eckhart’s settlement last month with Ed Henry, whom she accused of rape and sexual abuse during their time at Fox News.

Eckhart claimed she was “violently raped while restrained in metal handcuffs.” Henry denied the allegations, saying the two were in a consensual, sadomasochistic relationship and presented explicit text messages as evidence.

Judge Tossed Claims Against Fox News

Earlier this year, a federal judge dismissed Eckhart’s claims against Fox News, ruling there was no evidence the network knew of her allegations before her termination.

Fox News maintained that she was fired in June 2020 for performance deficiencies, weeks before she ever raised any complaint about Henry.

Henry, now working at Newsmax, was fired by Fox News in July 2020 for alleged misconduct based on internal findings.

His legal team said the lawsuit was resolved “to the mutual satisfaction of the parties.”

Public Activism, Podcast, and Nonprofit

After going public, Eckhart launched a podcast called REINVENTED, discussing trauma and mental health, and started a nonprofit focused on animal-assisted therapy for survivors.
