A former youth organizer for Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been arrested after allegedly urging her 25,000 social media followers to “attack” a New York City high school because Jewish students attend it.
Police say 27-year-old Iman Abdul posted a screenshot of Leon M. Goldstein High School for the Sciences in Manhattan Beach on Google Maps Thursday with the caption:
“If anyone needs a public school in NYC to attack for whatever reason… Lexus driving Israhell loving Zionisits all attend here.” The post has since been deleted.

Anti-Semitic Remarks and Targeting of Students
Abdul added in the post that the students “have all gone on ‘Birthright,’” referring to a program offering free trips to Israel for Jewish young adults.
The comments prompted an immediate law enforcement response.
The NYPD arrested Abdul at her Brooklyn home Friday.
She has been charged with making a terroristic threat, acting in a manner injurious to a child, aggravated harassment, and making a threat of mass harm.
Political Ties
According to the New York Post, Abdul worked on the 2018 Democratic primary campaigns of Ocasio-Cortez and New York State Sen. Julia Salazar, serving as a canvasser for Salazar.
