FBI Official Fired After Claiming Epstein Cover-Up on Undercover Video

A senior FBI paralegal has been fired after undercover video was posted in which he suggested the bureau is withholding Jeffrey Epstein files to protect powerful figures, including Democrats.

The O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) on Monday published undercover recordings of Mitchell Reyes Rosas, an FBI Senior Paralegal Specialist, discussing the handling of the Epstein case.

Allegations in Recording

In the audio, Rosas said “something” is being covered up regarding Epstein’s client list.

He claimed full disclosure of the files is unlikely “until this administration is over.”

“There’s definitely something being held back,” Rosas said. “I imagine that there are a lot of powerful Democrats that are also on that list.”

Pressed by the undercover journalist, Rosas mentioned former President Bill Clinton.

“The first one that I’ve heard named is Bill Clinton,” he said.

He added that Clinton still carries “a lot of influence in the party,” which may explain reluctance to release records.

Rosas accused leadership of repeatedly breaking pledges of transparency.

“It’s like, ‘We’re going to release everything on JFK, on MLK, on Epstein.’ Next thing you know, it’s like, ‘Oh, no, it turns out there is no list,’” he said.

He described the process as “so disjointed.”

According to Rosas, the FBI is doing only what political leadership directs.

“None of the people in a position to answer the questions are willing to do it because it’s clear that they’re covering something and protecting someone,” he said.

“My hope is that justice is being delayed — not erased.”

Firing Confirmed

Shortly after the recording was released, Rosas was fired.

An FBI spokesperson confirmed he was escorted from the building Monday.

“The individual Mitchell Reyes Rosas has been dismissed/fired as of today,” the statement said.

Rosas Pushes Back

In a message to OMG, Rosas denied the accuracy of the transcript.

“I was not speaking on behalf of anyone but myself,” he wrote.

He claimed the transcript was “a fabrication” and said he did not consent to publication.

“I reserve all legal rights and remedies, including defamation,” Rosas added.

OMG founder James O’Keefe said Rosas attempted to block release of the recording.

Despite the warnings, O’Keefe released the audio on social media, where it quickly spread.

O’Keefe said the firing proves the FBI is trying to silence insiders who speak out.

No DOJ Response

The Department of Justice and FBI have not publicly addressed Rosas’s specific claims about Epstein.
