Federal investigators have expanded their probe into the assassination of Charlie Kirk to examine whether pro-trans groups or online associates of Tyler Robinson had advance knowledge of the murder.
Law enforcement sources told New York Post and Axios the investigation includes leftist groups in Utah and online gaming communities.
Groups Under Review
Investigators are looking closely at the online platform Steam, where Robinson spent time.
They are also reviewing Armed Queers SLC, a pro-trans group in Salt Lake City.

The group shut down its Instagram account after Kirk was killed.
Armed Queers SLC held a “queer resistance” event at the University of Utah in September 2023.
Flyers for the event featured communist imagery and a rainbow flag.

One depicted a woman holding an AK-47 with her finger on the trigger.
The flyer included the phrase “agitate, educate, organize.”
In an interview last year, a member said the group prioritized “struggles against racism, transphobia, and capitalism.”
Their logo featured two rifle rounds, similar to the one that killed Kirk.
Online Warnings
Social media posts are raising further concerns.
One post, made Sept. 9, read: “Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow i rlly hope someone evaporates him.”

The same user followed up with: “Lets just say something big will happen tomorrow.”
After Kirk’s assassination, the same account posted: “CHARLIE KIRK GOT SHOT BRO I PROMISE I DIDNT HSVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT.”
The user then appeared to change usernames and delete older posts.
Another TikTok video surfaced with ominous text saying Kirk “does NOT know what’s coming tomorrow.”

Suspect’s Trans Partner
Robinson lived with a partner, Lance Twiggs, who is transitioning from male to female.
Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed Twiggs has been cooperating fully with investigators.
Lance Twiggs
Twiggs has not been accused of involvement in the crime.
Cox said authorities are reviewing whether Robinson’s relationship played a role.
He told CNN that Twiggs “had no idea this was happening.”
Robinson’s family members described him as increasingly radicalized by far-left ideology.
Governor’s Remarks
“It’s very clear to us that this was a person deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” Cox told The Wall Street Journal.
He said Robinson’s political leanings emerged during conversations with relatives.
The governor added that the probe must determine whether others were complicit.
The Kirk Assassination
Kirk was assassinated Sept. 10 while answering a question about transgender mass shooters.
He was struck in the neck by a single rifle round in front of thousands.
The Turning Point USA founder was rushed to the hospital but did not survive.
Robinson, 22, was arrested Sept. 12 after a 33-hour manhunt.
Tyler Robinson
His father turned him in after recognizing him in FBI surveillance photos.
Investigators now see a trail of possible online hints and radical ties.
They are working to determine if Robinson acted entirely alone.
Or if others online or in activist groups knew more than they have admitted.
