The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has received reports of adverse events from people injured by COVID-19 vaccines, including a child injured during a Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine trial, according to documents obtained by Children’s Health Defense (CHD).
The documents also reveal that vaccine-injured individuals experienced symptoms such as severe pain, chest pain, neurological issues, and paralysis.
Some individuals were advised against receiving a second dose of the vaccine.
The documents, released to CHD through a Freedom of Information Act request, also show that Dr. Anthony Fauci and FDA officials were aware of serious vaccine adverse events as early as December 2020.
The NIH settled a lawsuit with CHD and agreed to release 7,500 pages of documents.
However, NIH officials gave mixed messages about the reliability of the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).
The documents also include emails from frustrated vaccine injury victims who complained about the slow pace of response from the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Board (CICP). One individual threatened to contact lawmakers and reached out to Rep. James McGovern and Dr. Fauci for a response.
