Yesterday we told you that an Obama federal judge blocked Elon Musk and DOGE from accessing Treasury payment systems for the next week.
Part of the ruling was to also destroy any data they took from the system.
New Jersey AG Matt Platkin emphasized this in a tweet and said “the Judge ordered Elon and the DOGE bros to delete any data they illegally acquired since Trump took office. We are going to make sure they comply. Billionaires don’t get to write their own rules.”
A-hole House Democrat Daniel Goldman retweeted this and wrote “It wasn’t just a freeze on @elonmusk and @DOGE accessing Americans’ personal data. He was ordered to DESTROY any data they already took. Elon must confirm he has followed the court order.”

Elon Musk responded to this last night and said “We don’t have any personal data of Americans, you corrupt moron.”

These people accuse Musk and DOGE of stealing the data of the American people, but as the Treasury Secretary said yesterday, they are simply suggesting improvements to the system and to the way the Treasury uses it.
