Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile was called out by HBO’s “Real Time” presenter Bill Maher for repeatedly mispronouncing the name of GOP 2024 presidential contender Vivek Ramaswamy.
“Vivek needs to just shut the hell up,” Donna Brazile said during a panel with former Rep. Adam Kinzinger on Friday’s edition of “Real Time.”
“I’m Donna, is it Vivake Ramasama? … Vivek needs to go home.”
“I just feel like there’s something wrong with everyone refusing to learn his name,” Bill Maher said. “I just feel there’s a little racism there… I know we don’t like him but say his name right… It is Vivek because I heard him do a rap and he said it rhymes with cake. This is what the CNN audience needs to know.”
The 2024 presidential candidate also hit back against Brazile’s slights.
