Donald Trump’s Surprising Link to King Charles Revealed

A new genealogy report is making waves as King Charles III and Queen Camilla visit Washington for a notable State Visit.

According to research published in the Daily Mail, President Trump and the British monarch might share a familial link as 15th cousins, tracing back to a mutual ancestor: the third Earl of Lennox, a Scottish noble who had connections to King James II of Scotland.

The possible relationship is traced via Lord Lennox’s daughter, Lady Helen, who married the 11th Earl of Sutherland. Their lineage, as noted by the Mail, continued through the Sutherland family and into Clan Mackay, eventually producing Donald Mackay, the 1st Lord Reay, celebrated for his loyalty to King Charles I during the English Civil War.

This lineage supposedly extends over generations of Mackays, ultimately linking to the MacLeod family and leading to Mary Anne MacLeod of Lewis. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1930, married Fred Trump, a New York developer, and gave birth to Donald Trump in 1946.

This intriguing connection adds a unique twist to American history. The same report indicates that Trump’s lineage may also connect back to King George III, the British monarch whose reign faced rejection from American colonies in 1776.

The timing of this revelation is particularly noteworthy, as the United States approaches its 250th anniversary of independence, with the royal visit shining a light on the intricate ties that have historically linked the two nations.

Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump welcomed the royal couple at the White House on Monday, with a formal ceremonial reception planned for Tuesday. The visit includes meetings aimed at strengthening diplomacy, security, and economic relations.
