Donald Trump Threatens to Deport Prince Harry if He Wins Re-Election

Former President Donald Trump has once more suggested that if he wins another term in office, Prince Harry could be deported from the United States if it’s discovered to have lied about his drug use on his visa application.

On Tuesday, Nigel Farage of GB News questioned Trump about whether Prince Harry should receive “special privileges” if it turns out he lied on his visa application.

This inquiry comes as the royal’s immigration status is tangled in a legal dispute following his admission of illegal drug use in his memoir.

“No. We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs, and if he lied, they’ll have to take appropriate action,” Trump is quoted as saying in a preview of the interview.

When asked if “appropriate action” could involve deportation, Trump did not offer a straightforward response.

“Oh, I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me. You would have thought they would have known this a long time ago,” the former president said.

In Prince Harry’s memoir, “Spare,” he openly discussed his past drug use, including cocaine, cannabis, and psychedelic mushrooms. Such revelations could potentially lead to the rejection of his American visa application.

Trump, aged 77, has previously spoken out about the immigration situation of the Duke of Sussex, cautioning that if he secures another term in 2024, Prince Harry would be “on his own” following his “unforgivable” betrayal of Queen Elizabeth II.

Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference in Oxon Hill, Maryland, last month, Trump criticized President Biden’s administration for being “too gracious” to the Sussexes since Harry and his American wife, Meghan Markle, relocated to California in 2020.

“I wouldn’t protect him. He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me,” the former president told the Express, as he claimed Biden’s administration had given the immigrant special privileges.

When questioned about Biden’s stance on the Sussexes, Trump criticized the president’s approach, stating, “I think they have been too gracious to him after what he has done.”

His remarks follow a lawsuit filed by the conservative think tank Heritage Foundation, which has brought Prince Harry’s immigration status to the forefront.

The foundation contends that the 39-year-old royal may not have lawfully entered the US due to his admission of illegal drug use in his memoir.

In his memoir “Spare,” Harry disclosed that during his youth, he had taken cocaine, marijuana, and psychedelic mushrooms. He remarked that cocaine “didn’t do anything for me,” whereas “Marijuana is different, that actually really did help me.”

The lawsuit filed by the Heritage Foundation contends that according to US law, individuals who admit to drug use are typically ineligible for entry into the country.

However, attorneys representing the Department of Homeland Security argued in court that statements made in a book do not constitute “sworn testimony or proof.”

The attorneys asserted that Prince Harry’s narrative might have been exaggerated to “sell books”, emphasizing that “saying something in a book doesn’t necessarily make it true.”

Trump’s full interview with Farage will air on GB News Tuesday at 3 p.m. EST.
