Judge Juan Merchan announced in court on Tuesday that President Donald Trump will have the privilege of attending his son Barron’s high school graduation.
This announcement comes amidst Merchan presiding over the hush money criminal case against Trump, as reported by Fox News.

Trump requested the court’s presence at Barron Trump’s graduation in a previous instance.
Subsequently, Trump has expressed his concerns regarding the judge’s potential refusal of his appeal.
“(Barron’s) a great student and he’s very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there, and it looks like the judge isn’t going to allow me to escape this scam. It’s a scam trial,” Trump said earlier this month.
It remains uncertain whether the trial will be postponed on that particular day or if Trump will be absent from the court.
Barron Trump is enrolled in a private high school located in South Florida.
Currently, Trump is undergoing a trial in Manhattan where he is facing 34 felony charges related to falsifying business records.
Furthermore, on Tuesday, Judge Merchan held Trump in contempt of court for disregarding a gag order that prohibits him from publicly discussing witnesses and family members of court officials.
The judge stated that Trump violated the order on nine occasions and imposed a fine of $1,000 for each violation.
Prior to the commencement of the court proceedings, Trump claimed that the case was a fabrication and suggested that Judge Merchan should disqualify himself.
“This is a hoax. This is a judge who is conflicted. Badly, badly, badly conflicted. I’ve never seen a judge so conflicted and giving us virtually no rulings,” Trump said.
“I’m going to sit in the freezing cold icebox for eight hours, nine hours or so.
“They took me off the campaign trail. But the good news is my poll numbers are the highest it’s ever been.
“So at least we’re getting the word out. And everybody knows this trial is a scam. It’s a scam.
“The judge should be recused, that he should recuse himself today he should recuse himself today. And maybe he will,” Trump said.
