Disney Star Mocks Fans for Criticism of Pro-Trans Messaging in Film & Television

Pedro Pascal, the star of HBO’s “The Last Of Us” and Disney’s “The Mandalorian,” has been mocking fans who have expressed frustration with the inclusion of radical gender ideology and other left-wing social values in films after he posted a pro-trans message to his Instagram page.

“I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist,” Pascal wrote to his 8.8 million followers on the platform. The caption was accompanied by a photo of a sign reading, “a world without trans people has never existed. And never will.”

Several fans expressed frustration with Pascal for sharing his political views and said they would be unfollowing him. “You were my favourite actor…. I’m unfollowing you…. Bull**it,” one fan wrote, to which Pascal replied sarcastically, “nooooooooooo,” according to a report from Breitbart News.

Another fan told the “Game of Thrones” star that he was one of their favorite actors until the post, to which Pascal replied “that’s too bad. Wait, no I don’t give a sh**.”

Pascal is set to star in two major upcoming Disney films, one for the Star Wars franchise and one for Marvel Studios. This summer, he is set to star as Mister Fantastic in “The Fantastic Four: First Steps.” In the following year, he will reprise his role in “The Mandalorian” when the hit Disney + series gets its first theatrical film release.

The actor’s antagonistic attitude towards fans comes as the company attempt to role back a years-long trend of disappointing box office releases, much of which has been blamed on Disney’s embrace of radical left-wing social ideologies.

Pixar release “Elemental” contained transgender themes in a film marketed towards children, while the studio’s “Lightyear” featured a same-sex kissing scene.

Like Pascal, “Lightyear” star Chris Evans trashed fans who took issue with LGBT content and transgenderism being marketed to children. “The real truth is those people are idiots,” Evans told Reuters in an interview at the time.

“Every time there’s been social advancement as we wake up, the American story, the human story is one of constant social awakening and growth and that’s what makes us good,” he added.

In total, Disney has lost more than one-billion-dollars on box office releases dating back to 2022.
