Delta CEO Won’t Name Pilots in Toronto Crash Amid All-Female Crew Rumors

Delta CEO Ed Bastian appeared on CBS Mornings on Wednesday to discuss the plane that crash-landed in Toronto this week.

Ed Bastian refused to identify the pilot of the doomed plane amid rumors it was an all-female crew.

The doomed flight was operated by Endeavor Air – a regional airline obsessed with promoting all-female flights.

A Delta plane crash-landed on a snowy runway at Toronto Pearson Airport in Canada on Monday afternoon.

The flight arrived from Minneapolis when it crashed, landed, and flipped upside down.

Dashcam video shows the plane coming in for a hard landing before flipping upside down and turning into a fireball.

All 80 people aboard survived. At least 18 people were injured, 3 critically, including one child.

The plane crash is still under investigation.

Ed Bastian was asked about the pilot of the doomed plane on Wednesday morning and he insisted the crew was “experienced.”

“I can’t provide any details…it’s an ongoing investigation,” Ed Bastian said.

In response to a question about the pilots, Ed Bastian said, “It was an experienced crew.”
