During a debate on Hunter Biden’s scandals, CNN political commentator Jonah Goldberg made a significant statement.
President Joe Biden, in an interview with ABC’s David Muir, stated that he would not grant a pardon to his son, who is currently facing three federal gun charges brought by special counsel David Weiss in September 2023.
Goldberg, participating in a panel discussion alongside CNN’s Chris Wallace, Lulu Garcia Navarro, and Kara Swisher, strongly disagreed with the notion that Biden would abstain from pardoning Hunter Biden.
He confidently asserted that the Democratic president will indeed grant a pardon after the 2024 election.
“If he didn’t say it, they would attack him for being a terrible father,” Swisher said.
“And also, by the way, he has said, he was asked directly, and he has said he wouldn’t pardon, um, his son if he gets convicted,” Garcia Navarro added.
“Let’s wait and see what happens if he loses,” Wallace remarked.
“Yeah but, I mean, but he said it!” Garcia Navarro exclaimed. “I mean, and he said he would abide —”
“Well what was he gonna say? He has to say that,” Wallace shot back.
“Well, I don’t know!” Garcia Navarro said.
Goldberg entered the conversation with intensity after Wallace challenged him to “give me your strongest argument” as the discussion resumed following the network’s switch to airing Biden’s comments in France.
Watch:
Ho hum, no matter what Biden says or which Biden says it, it is a lie.
He won’t have to pardon him, he isn’t going to jail.
