Cherished Actress Dies at 51 After Brave Fight with Cancer

Carrie Anne Fleming, a beloved figure among fans of television series like “Supernatural” and “iZombie,” has sadly passed away following a fight with cancer. She was 51 years old.

According to a representative, Fleming died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones. She leaves behind her daughter. Her representation emphasized that knowing Carrie was a privilege, noting her inspiring beauty and kindness. She will be profoundly missed.

The actress, originally from Canada, took her last breath in her home country, as confirmed by her spokesperson.

Many tributes have surfaced in the wake of her passing, including heartfelt words from Jim Beaver, who portrayed her husband Bobby Singer on “Supernatural.”

“She embodied vitality and goodwill, with an infectious laugh and a spirited personality that was always on,” Beaver shared on Facebook.

He also told Variety that complications from breast cancer were the cause of her passing.

Born on August 16, 1974, in Nova Scotia, Fleming’s acting journey began in the mid-1990s. Her first role was in the 1994 TV movie “Viper,” and she made an uncredited appearance in the 1996 Adam Sandler film “Happy Gilmore.”

She gained recognition for her recurring stand as Candy on “iZombie” from 2015 to 2019, in addition to her role as Karen Singer in three episodes of “Supernatural.”

Fleming also enjoyed a robust stage career in British Columbia, starring in productions like “Noises Off,” “Romeo and Juliet,” “Steel Magnolias,” and “Fame.”
