President Biden challenged former President Trump in a heavily-modified debate, agreeing to participate in at least two campaign debates.
“Donald Trump lost two debates to me in 2020. Since then, he hasn’t shown up for a debate. Now he’s acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal,” Biden said in a video message. “I’ll even do it twice. So let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays.”
The 14-second video required a minimum of five edits. Biden’s provocation is appalling considering his own Justice Department was utilized to target his main political opponent. President Trump promptly embraced the challenge.
“I am Ready and Willing to Debate Crooked Joe at the two proposed times in June and September,” the former president wrote on Truth Social. “I would strongly recommend more than two debates and, for excitement purposes, a very large venue, although Biden is supposedly afraid of crowds – That’s only because he doesn’t get them. Just tell me when, I’ll be there. ‘Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!’”
President Trump made a wise decision by agreeing to face the elderly speaker’s challenge. However, it is essential for him to insist on a non-negotiable demand from the debate organizers: a pre-debate drug test. It is impossible to predict what kind of potent performance-enhancing substances they might secretly add to Juiced Up Joe’s breakfast on the day of the debate.
