The funding for the pro-Palestinian, antisemitic protests on university campuses nationwide can be traced back to President Joe Biden’s own political donors.
This financial connection may shed light on why he is hesitant to condemn these protests and unwilling to launch an investigation into them.
Last month, when asked to respond to the protests, Biden gave a perplexing answer, stating that he condemned antisemitism but also condemned those who lacked understanding of the Palestinian situation.
This response left observers puzzled. NGO Monitor and other organizations have conducted research into the donors supporting these protests and have discovered familiar names from the Democratic Party’s funding sources, including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations and other liberal philanthropies.
Notably, Biden’s Department of Justice has refused to investigate the civil rights abuses occurring within these “encampments,” which target Jews, journalists, and others. Additionally, they have declined to consider RICO conspiracy charges.

It is possible that he refrains from subjecting his own political contributors to scrutiny or potential embarrassment, which could explain the situation.
Politico reported:
“Two of the main organizers behind protests at Columbia University and on other campuses are Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow.
“Both are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Democratic megadonor George Soros as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and it in turn supports numerous small nonprofits that work for social change.
“(Gates did not return a request for comment, and Soros declined to comment.)
“Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests are backed by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire — and supporters of Biden and numerous Democratic campaigns, including $6,600 to the Biden Victory Fund a few months ago and more than $300,000 during the 2020 campaign.”
The potential influence of Democratic Party mega-donors on the antisemitic protests could potentially prompt Jewish voters, who make up approximately 70% of the Democratic voting bloc, to reconsider their voting choices in the upcoming 2024 elections.
Caroline Glick, in her analysis for the Jewish News Syndicate, highlights that while President Biden has been focused on securing Arab- and Muslim-American votes in Michigan, there is also a possibility of losing Jewish votes in crucial swing states such as Pennsylvania, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and others.
