President Joe Biden stated during a graduation address at West Point that he declined an opportunity to participate in football at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
The only problem? It’s not true at all.
Biden has shared varying versions of this assertion with graduates at the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado.
He maintains that he sought admission to the Naval Academy to participate in football, but was actually appointed by former Delaware Sen. J. Caleb Boggs (R) in 1965.
However, Biden graduated from the University of Delaware in 1965, casting doubt on his application to the Naval Academy during that time.
Additionally, Biden claims he declined the offer upon learning that NFL Heisman Trophy winners Joe Bellino and Staubach were part of the U.S. Naval Academy football team at the time. An inconsistency arises as Staubach graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1964, while Bellino graduated in 1961, as reported by Fox News.
I was one of ten. I wanted to play football,” Biden told the graduates. “And, the day that I was supposed to go down for the interview, a classmate of mine who was also one of the ten appointed to be chosen from, named Steve Dunning, came to pick me up.”
Watch:
Biden tells West Point graduates that he was “appointed” to the Naval Academy, where he “wanted to play football.”
He has repeated this lie many times before and there is still no record any of it ever happened. pic.twitter.com/JxLC1EG9fO

We dismiss his rantings because he’s old and frail, don’t we?
That’s exactly why Joe was chosen! He was installed to make wholesale destruction seem like incompetence.
