Barron Trump Moved Back Into White House: Report

Barron Trump, the only son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, is moving into the White House this fall as he continues his studies at New York University’s Washington, D.C. campus.

The 19-year-old spent his freshman year at NYU’s main Greenwich Village campus in Manhattan but has opted for the smaller, policy-focused program in the nation’s capital for his sophomore year.

A Return to the White House

The university’s D.C. campus admits roughly 120 students each semester and offers courses in politics, public policy, economics, history, and journalism.

Though Barron is enrolled in NYU’s Stern School of Business, the D.C. program provides opportunities to engage more directly with government and media institutions.

Barron’s new arrangement places him back under the same roof as his parents for the first extended period since his father returned to the presidency.

During his freshman year, Barron lived at Trump Tower in Manhattan and frequently traveled to Palm Beach to be with his father at Mar-a-Lago.

Officials from NYU and the Trump family confirmed Barron’s participation in the Washington campus program but declined to give details, citing security considerations.

They described his enrollment as a “semester at another NYU campus.”

Summer of Study

Sources told the New York Post that Barron spent the summer focused on business planning while also joining family trips and meetings tied to expanding the Trump Organization’s ventures.

Barron is said to have shown interest in the corporate world but has also helped shape his father’s digital outreach to younger voters.

During the 2024 campaign, he was credited with boosting Trump’s image among younger audiences through new media efforts.

President Trump had hinted at his youngest son’s college trajectory in a 2024 radio interview.

“He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy. And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny,” Trump said.
