Anti-Trump Chris Christie Trashes GOP 2024 Rivals,Backs Puberty-Blockers for Kids

Anti-Trump Republican 2024 candidate Chris Christie has returned to Sunday morning television.

However, it was not in his customary seat as one of the talking heads on ABC’s “This Week.”

The show has suspended its relationship with the former New Jersey governor while he runs for the presidency.

Christie took his blustering oversized presence to CNN’s “State of the Union” where he savagely attacked the GOP frontrunner, much to the delight of anchor Jake Tapper who tossed away the last smidgen of his journalistic objectivity with an on-air temper tantrum over former President Donald J. Trump’s stop at a Cuban restaurant after he was arraigned in Miami last week.

In one of the nasty diatribes that his media cheerleaders have been salivating for since buzz began that he would jump into the race in a kamikaze bid to take out Trump, Christie assailed the ex-POTUS as a “petulant child” which must have been on the list of talking points with former AG Bill Barr ripping Trump as a “defiant 9-year-old” on a competing network.

After Tapper rattled off a list of Trump’s insults of his former hires in his typically whiny voice, he asked, “What do you make of the comments?”

Christie rambled on about Trump’s change of heart about his picks, picking up where Tapper left off with the former president’s comments in what could be a rehearsal for the upcoming GOP debates.

“Look, either Donald Trump — if you believe what he said when they left, that means he didn’t pick the very best people and doesn’t know how to pick personnel,” he continued. “If you believe what he said about them in the beginning — the great stuff — then this guy is the worst manager in the history of the American presidency. Either way, Republicans should listen to what he says.”

“He’s a petulant child when someone disagrees with him and whether it’s Bill Barr or John Kelly or General Mattis, whether it is Mick Mulvaney or whether it’s General Milley, If you disagree with Donald Trump, the petulant child comes out and he calls you names like the ones you just mentioned and the ones I mentioned,” he said.

Christie also took a run at the other top GOP candidate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who has been at the forefront of the pushback against the “woke” cultural revolution, including groomers in classrooms and the use of potent drugs such as puberty blockers being passed out to kids like candy, defending treatments if they have parental consent.

“Republican governors across the country have been banning hormone therapy and puberty blockers for transgender people under 18 years old…” Tapper said. “As governor of New Jersey, you signed into law some legal protections for trans people, including students. What do you make of your fellow Republican governors and candidates going in the opposite direction?”

Christie replied, “Jake, what I believe we should be focused on most importantly in these issues, is making sure there’s parental involvement and every step along the way.”

“I don’t think that the government should ever be stepping into the place of the parents in helping to move their children through a process where those children are confused or concerned about their gender,” he added. “And I just would say the parents are the people who are best positioned to make these judgments. And so what I’d like to make sure each state does is require that parents be involved in these decisions.

“The fact is, that folks who are under the age of 18 should have parental support and guidance and love as they make all of the key decisions of their life,” he said Republican. “And this should not be one that’s excluded by the government in any way.”

The former Garden State governor stopped short of putting his stamp of approval on genital mutilation surgeries for minors and Tapper didn’t bother to ask.

It’s already clear that the media is all-in on Christie who in their best case scenario, would take out both Trump and DeSantis and deliver another four years to Biden on a silver platter.
