Another Biden Family Member Is Busted Behind the Wheel in Maryland

It’s the latest in a string of shocking driving incidents involving the Biden family.

The former president’s first wife and baby daughter were tragically killed in a car crash in 1972, his younger brother Frank was found liable for killing a man crossing the road in California in 1999, and his son Hunter crashed and abandoned a rental car with crack cocaine inside in 2017.

Now, DailyMail.com has revealed that Joe’s sister-in-law Sara Biden, 65, was caught driving almost 100mph in a 50mph zone on a Maryland country road on the morning of February 16, 2024.

Records show Sara, the wife of Joe’s brother Jim Biden, was driving her black 2023 Jeep Rubicon at 96mph down Route 33 near Leehaven Road at 9:30am.

The country road, in a rural area across the Eastern Bay from Washington DC, has a single lane for traffic in each direction.

Court records seen by DailyMail.com revealed Sara ended up pleading guilty to a lesser offense of speeding at 60mph and was ordered to undergo a ‘driver improvement program’ as part of her conviction.

Sara gained notoriety when she and her husband were tied to Hunter’s shady dealings with foreign oligarchs and a Chinese government-linked energy company as part of the IRS tax fraud probe into the felon former First Son.

A House Oversight Committee investigation into Hunter’s business deals traced a money trail from Chinese oil giant CEFC – one of his joint ventures – that snaked through bank accounts belonging to Hunter, Sara and Jim, and Joe, in 2017.

WhatsApp messages from August 2017 previously published by DailyMail.com, showed Hunter demanded $10million from CEFC, and claimed his father was ‘sitting here’ next to him during the exchange.

After an initial $5million from CEFC was put in the joint venture on August 8, 2017, and a transfer of $400,000 was placed into Hunter Biden entity Owasco, P.C. on the same day.

Then, $150,000 was transferred directly from Owasco into the bank account of Jim and Sara Biden on August 14, 2017.

Then on September 3, 2017, Sara wrote a $40,000 check direct to Joe – just six days after she took out $50,000 in cash, according to the obtained documents.

That same year, Sara’s daughter Caroline was busted for a DUI and spent 20 days in rehab after crashing her car into a tree in Pennsylvania.

Joe’s youngest brother Frank Biden also got a DUI in 2003.

According to a police affidavit, he had an open and almost empty 375ml bottle of Popov Vodka in his car, ‘red watery eyes, slurred speech, flushed face’.

The document stated that Frank ‘did not know where he had been or where he came from’.

As for the 1999 case, Frank was found partially legally responsible for the death of Michael Albano in August that year.

Albano died when he was crossing the road on Highway 101 in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, beside Encinitas, California, when a high-powered Jaguar XK8 convertible rented by Biden hit him.

The car was reportedly traveling as fast as 80mph. The speed limit was 35mph.

Frank, then 43, was riding shotgun when he shifted the 290hp car into manual and told the driver, Jason Turton, 25, to ‘punch it,’ just before hitting Albano.

But the former president’s younger brother never acknowledged his liability and never even turned up in court when Albano’s family sued him, according to court documents.

After dodging creditors for two decades, DailyMail.com revealed in October 2020 that he had agreed to a settlement in the case. While it’s not known exactly how much he agreed to pay, it was understood to be a significant amount.
