A 51-year old man was arrested in connection with the attack against Alina Habba. She is the U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, and an ardent Trump supporter.
Pam Bondi, the Attorney General of Florida announced in an X message that Keith Michael Lisa had been arrested for his involvement with this attack. Bondi said that no one would get away with intimidating or threatening our US Attorneys, or destroying their offices.
Habba added, “Now the justice system will deal with him.”
The authorities announced Wednesday that a person attempted to confront U.S. attorney Alina Habba and damaged her property before fleeing the scene. Bondi said that Habba had not been injured by the assault.
According to reports, the assailant had a baseball bat with which he smashed up Habba’s office. He then threw it away and fled. Bondi announced the case would be treated urgently and a manhunt was launched to find the suspect. A $25,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information that leads to his arrest.
Poster warned that the person “should be regarded as dangerous”. He was described by poster as a 6’3″ man weighing more than 200 lbs.
Violence or threats against federal officers will not be tolerated. Period. It is becoming an unfortunate trend that radicals are continuing to target law enforcement officers across the nation,” wrote she.

Lisa was arrested on November 13th, 2025 in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in Newark (New Jersey) after being charged with Possession of Dangerous Weapons in Federal Facilities and Depredation of Federal Property.
Lisa was registered in Bergen County, New Jersey in 2017, according to local media.
Habba said earlier this week in a X message about the incident. Habba, in a similar vein to Bondi, noted that this incident followed several violent assaults on federal officers, officials and law enforcement, including a troubling trend of armed gang ambush attacks targeting ICE officers.
