Protesters at Columbia University, who were against Israel, refused to comply with the directive issued by the university administration to vacate the encampment.
They even went as far as threatening to set fire to the university.
Aidan Parisi, a suspended student of Columbia University, shared photos on their Instagram account showing a paper from the university.
The paper stated that the protesters had until Monday at 2:00 p.m. to gather their belongings and “abandon the encampment.”
The paper was marked with the phrases “Columbia will burn” and “I ain’t reading all that. Free Palestine,” written in red ink.
“The current unauthorized encampment and disruption on Columbia University’s campus is creating an unwelcoming environment for members of our community,” the letter from Columbia University read. “External actors have also contributed to this environment, especially around our gates, causing safety concerns — including for our neighbors.”
The letter continues:
“These are among the most significant aspects of students’ academic programs.
“Many of this year’s graduates were deprived of a graduation celebration from high school because of the pandemic. For many of their families, this will be the first time anyone in their family has completed college and received a degree.”
Day 13 at the Columbia encampment—students have been given a 2pm deadline to vacate.

Video footage posted to X shows that anti-Israel protesters at Columbia University were heard chanting, “Brick by brick, wall by wall, Israel will fall.”
The letter sent to the protesters informed them that their encampment violated various university policies, including those related to vandalism, property damage, unauthorized access, failure to comply, and the Rules of University Code of Conduct, among others.

Several college and university campuses have seen the emergence of anti-Israel protests and encampments during the month of April.
The first encampment was set up at Columbia University, followed by similar ones at Northwestern University, Harvard University, George Washington University, the University of California Los Angeles, and the University of Pennsylvania.
This business was of allowing students to dictate campus policy is absurd! Either take control of your students or SHUT DOWN! This is not “education”!
The best video I have seen is of a student being taken away, he wouldn’t comply and fell to the ground, the officer (National Guard I think) simply picked him up and carried him off while he was screaming like a little girl.
