Trump Envoy to Meet with UK Woman Who Was Imprisoned Over a Tweet

Lucy Connolly, the British housewife sentenced to more than two years in prison for a social media post following the brutal migrant stabbing in Southport, is reportedly preparing to meet with a senior representative of the Trump Administration.

Connolly, 42, became a symbol of the U.K.’s harsh crackdown on speech after posting in anger at the wave of migrant violence that left three young girls dead and more than a dozen injured last summer.

The attack, carried out by Axel Rudakubana, a first-generation Rwandan migrant, targeted children inside the Hart Space dance studio in Southport. The victims — Bebe King (6), Elsie Dot Stancombe (7), and Alice da Silva Aguiar (9) — were fatally stabbed, while five more children and one adult were critically wounded.

Sentenced for a social media post

As riots spread across Britain, Connolly posted on Facebook:

“Mass deportation now, set fire to all the f****** hotels full of the bastards for all I care… if that makes me racist so be it.”

The post referred to taxpayer-funded migrant hotels, some of which have become notorious for housing asylum seekers accused of violent crimes — including an Ethiopian migrant in Epping charged with raping a young girl.

Though Connolly deleted the post and apologized, she was arrested, charged with “inciting racial hatred,” and sentenced to 31 months in prison.

After serving about nine months, she was released on August 21.

Two-tier justice system

Connolly’s case has fueled accusations of a two-tier justice system in the U.K. Just days before her release, a left-wing politician who had threatened anti-immigration protesters — saying “we need to cut all their throats and get rid of them all” — was found not guilty.

While ordinary citizens are jailed for speech, critics note, leftist politicians and pro-migrant activists face no consequences for their rhetoric.

Trump administration steps in

President Trump’s administration has already pressured Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government over politically motivated prosecutions and the criminalization of speech.

Connolly confirmed to the Daily Telegraph that she will soon be meeting with a senior Trump official to discuss her case.

She also revealed that she is considering legal action against British police, accusing them of releasing false statements that prejudiced her trial.

“I definitely think that is something I will be looking into,” she said. “I don’t want to say too much because I want to seek legal advice on that, but I think the police were dishonest on what they released and what they said about me, and I’ll be holding them to account for that.”

Connolly has called herself a “political prisoner of Keir Starmer”, saying her ordeal highlights how far Britain’s ruling class has gone to silence critics of mass immigration.
