Rapper Lil Nas X, born Montero Lamar Hill, was arrested Thursday morning after Los Angeles police responded to reports of a naked man walking along Ventura Boulevard in the Studio City neighborhood.
Police say the 26-year-old charged at officers when they arrived on the scene around 6 a.m.
Video obtained by TMZ appeared to show the Grammy-nominated performer wearing only underwear and boots.
Taken to Hospital Before Jail Booking
According to LAPD spokesman Officer Charles Miller, officers suspected a drug overdose and transported Lil Nas X to a hospital before booking him.
He was released from the hospital after a few hours and transferred to Valley Jail in Van Nuys, where he was held on suspicion of misdemeanor obstruction of an officer.

Clips of the encounter quickly circulated on social media.
The footage shows the rapper visibly disoriented in the middle of the street.
