Vance: ‘You Are Going to See a Lot of People Get Indicted’ Over Russiagate

Vice President JD Vance says the Trump administration’s investigations into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax will likely lead to “a lot” of people being indicted.

Speaking with Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Vance pointed to newly unclassified documents released by National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard showing that senior Obama officials were told Russian interference in the 2016 election was insignificant and had no material effect on the outcome.

Despite that, intelligence leaders approved a report claiming the opposite — a move that led to the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation, which ultimately found no evidence of collusion between President Trump’s campaign and Russia.

“I Absolutely Want to See Indictments”

“I absolutely want to see indictments,” Vance told Bartiromo. “Of course, you’ve got to have the law follow the facts. You don’t just indict people to indict people — you indict people because they broke the law.”

The vice president said the evidence revealed by Gabbard and former Trump aide Kash Patel shows “an aggressive violation of the law” and that senior Obama officials “absolutely” broke it. “You’re going to see a lot of people get indicted for that,” he added.

Gabbard: A ‘Years-Long Coup’ Against Trump

Gabbard has described the actions of former President Obama and his top officials as an attempt to subvert the will of the American people.
“This is an issue that should concern every single American because it has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic,” she said in a Fox News interview. “What they did was essentially enact a years-long coup against President Trump, who was duly elected by the American people.”

DOJ and FBI Launch Investigations

On Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the creation of a Justice Department “strike force” to determine whether enough evidence exists to charge Obama over his alleged role.

Prosecutors and intelligence officials will focus on identifying “the worst offenders” involved in fraudulent activities, including wire fraud, money laundering, false statements, and more.

The FBI has also opened a separate investigation into former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey. Sources say it centers on false statements to Congress regarding the Russia hoax, with investigators examining whether a broader conspiracy was at play.
