Trump Admin Launches New ICE Agent Recruitment Campaign

The Trump administration has launched a bold new nationwide recruitment campaign to expand the ranks of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), following the passage of the Big, Beautiful Bill — a sweeping law that delivers nearly $30 billion in new funding to the agency for hiring, training, and retention.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) unveiled a new website and multimedia campaign calling on Americans to serve in ICE as deportation officers, criminal investigators, or general attorneys.

“Defend the Homeland”: Graphics Feature Trump, Noem, and ICE Leadership

The recruitment campaign is branded with images of President Donald Trump, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, acting ICE Director Todd Lyons, and active ICE agents, alongside slogans like:

  • “Defend the Homeland”
  • “America Needs You”
  • “Join ICE”

DHS is encouraging Americans to view the campaign as a patriotic call to duty, likening it to wartime enlistment drives.

“The Trump Administration is fully committed to supporting the dedicated law enforcement professionals who secure our borders, shield our communities, and protect our national security,” the site declares.

Nearly $30 Billion in New Funding

The Big, Beautiful Bill, signed into law earlier this month, allocates just under $30 billion to ICE alone — enabling the largest hiring push in the agency’s history.

The funds are specifically designated for:

  • Recruitment and background vetting
  • Training and equipment
  • Retention and incentives
  • New regional field offices

DHS Officials: “We Need YOU”

Top DHS officials have taken to social media to promote the campaign:

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem wrote on X:

“Your country is calling you to serve at @ICEgov. In the wake of the Biden administration’s failed immigration policies, your country needs dedicated men and women of ICE to get the worst of the worst criminals out of our country.”

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin posted a recruiting image of Uncle Sam, writing:

“Terrorists. Pedophiles. MS-13 Gang members. Murderers. Rapists. Drug traffickers. Human traffickers. We need YOU to get them out.”

Website Offers FAQ and Application Info

The new ICE recruitment site also includes a FAQ section with answers to questions such as:

  • “What characteristics is ICE looking for?”
  • “How dangerous is the work?”
  • “Do I need law enforcement or military experience?”

Applicants are encouraged to apply through the official DHS portal, and are being told that ICE is seeking patriots with courage, integrity, and a desire to restore law and order.
