Video: Sex Trafficked Woman Dragged Back to Captivity by Illegal Migrant

A 22-year-old illegal alien from Honduras has been arrested and charged with kidnapping and sexual assault after being caught on video forcibly dragging a screaming woman back into a trailer home in Houston, Texas—a scene that investigators now believe is linked to a larger human trafficking network.

Jose Armando Carcamo-Perdomo was taken into custody after a concerned neighbor filmed the horrifying incident and contacted police, initially believing the woman was a child being abducted.

“As soon as I drove out of the fence at work, I called 911 to report a possible child abduction,” the neighbor told KTRK-TV.

Victim: Promised a Job, Then Held Hostage

The victim, a 44-year-old immigrant from China, told police she had traveled willingly from New York to Houston after being promised a job in the massage industry with better pay.

However, once she arrived, someone took her passport, and she was held against her will inside the trailer for five days without food or water, according to court records.

When she attempted to flee, Carcamo-Perdomo allegedly tied her up and sexually assaulted her, prosecutors said.

“She tried to leave, but this defendant carried her back inside the residence without her consent,” a Harris County judge stated during a bond hearing.

Police later found the woman bound inside a closet after responding to the emergency call.

ICE: Suspect Entered U.S. Illegally in 2020

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Carcamo-Perdomo is a Honduran national who illegally entered the United States in 2020. He is currently being held on a $150,000 bond and is also under an ICE detainer.

Federal agents believe Carcamo-Perdomo may be a small part of a much larger trafficking ring, and investigations are ongoing to identify additional suspects and victims.

Neighbor Regrets Not Acting Sooner

The neighbor who captured the disturbing footage expressed deep regret for not acting sooner.

“I’m angry with myself that I didn’t pick up on it sooner,” he said.“Who knows, it could have made a bigger difference with other people, maybe, other victims. It’s very disheartening.”

Attorney Claims Innocence

Carcamo-Perdomo’s attorney issued a statement to KPRC-TV, claiming:

“Our client is shocked by the serious allegations and firmly maintains his complete innocence. He fully expects the evidence will ultimately clear his name.”

The woman has since been rescued and is safe, according to law enforcement.
