Epstein’s Former Attorney Names 2 Democrats Who Are In the Epstein Files

Alan Dershowitz, the former Harvard Law professor and member of Jeffrey Epstein’s 2008 legal team, revealed Sunday that sealed federal documents include accusations naming former Democratic officials, and called for the release of materials currently under court seal.

Speaking on Fox News Sunday with Shannon Bream, Dershowitz said that while there is no official “client list”, he is aware of redacted names in sealed records, including from FBI reports and victim interviews.

“There is an FBI report of interviews with alleged victims in which at least one of the victims names very important people, and the names have been redacted,” Dershowitz said.“I know some of the names from my investigation.”

Among those named in past accusations, Dershowitz listed:

  • George Mitchell, former Democratic Senate Majority Leader

  • Bill Richardson, former New Mexico governor and UN ambassador

  • Ehud Barak, former Israeli Prime Minister

Dershowitz emphasized that being named does not confirm wrongdoing, noting that “many, many false accusations” have been made over the years.

False Affidavits and Fabricated Claims

Dershowitz cited an affidavit by Sarah Ransome, who had accused Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, and others of misconduct. Ransome later admitted she fabricated the claims and said she never had the sex tapes she claimed to possess.

“She made up the whole story,” Dershowitz said. “Yet the affidavit still remains in the court records.”

He urged the public to differentiate between credible and non-credible allegations as new information is released.

Trump Calls for Grand Jury Release, DOJ Transparency

On Saturday, President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social that he has asked the Department of Justice to release grand jury testimony related to Epstein, subject to court approval.

“I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval,” Trump wrote.“Anything that’s credible, I would say let them have it.”

Last week, Trump directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all credible information held by the DOJ that is legally eligible for public disclosure.

Ghislaine Maxwell Called “Key Witness”

Dershowitz argued that beyond the grand jury materials, more revealing evidence may be found in the civil case discovery materials, including those from the Ghislaine Maxwell case.

“She is the Rosetta Stone,” he said. “She arranged every single trip with everybody.”

Dershowitz recommended that Maxwell be summoned before Congress and offered immunity from prosecution in exchange for full testimony under oath.

Maxwell was sentenced in 2022 to 20 years in federal prison for conspiring with Epstein to traffic minors for sex.
