Bondi Says She’s Not Resigning Amid Uproar Over Epstein Files

Attorney General Pam Bondi made it clear Tuesday that she has no plans to resign, despite mounting criticism over the DOJ’s handling of the Epstein case.

Speaking at a press conference, Bondi reaffirmed her loyalty to President Trump and dismissed rumors that she might step down.

“I’m going to be here for as long as the president wants me here, and I believe he’s made that crystal-clear,” Bondi told reporters.

While facing questions about the Epstein fallout, Bondi pivoted to highlight her focus on fighting violent crime and cracking down on cartels flooding the U.S. with fentanyl.

“We are working on all these issues we deeply care about to make America safe again,” she said.

Bondi, a former Florida Attorney General, has long been outspoken on drug enforcement and border security. She pointed out that fentanyl is once again surging due to cartel operations and reaffirmed her office’s commitment to stopping it.

Dershowitz Defends Trump Admin

Alan Dershowitz, who previously represented Jeffrey Epstein, defended Bondi and President Trump from ongoing criticism over the Epstein files.

Appearing on NewsNation, Dershowitz said there is no client list to release—contrary to popular belief—and insisted the information currently sealed was ordered so by judges in New York, not the Trump DOJ.

“There’s no client list and never has been,” Dershowitz said. “What exists is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers… but none of those accused are currently in public office.”

Dershowitz emphasized that any redacted material can only be unsealed through court orders—not by the DOJ or the White House.

“Pam Bondi and the Justice Department and Donald Trump are not responsible for that,” he concluded.

Trump Team Holds Firm

The statements come as Trump and Bondi face growing pressure from some corners of their own base demanding the release of everything related to Epstein.

Bondi, however, showed no signs of backing down—and neither did Trump, who praised her leadership and stood by her publicly over the weekend.
