Six years later, footage of Jeffrey Epstein’s final hours has finally been made public, and the official story isn’t changing — despite years of public skepticism.
The 11 hours of prison CCTV footage from August 9–10, 2019, shows the disgraced financier being led to his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York. He was found dead the next morning.
The newly released video also comes with a DOJ memo: No new charges will be filed, and no new names will be added to the Epstein investigation.

Final Movements Caught on Tape
The footage shows a grey-haired Epstein in an orange jumpsuit, cuffed and walking with a guard at 7:49 PM.
The cell door itself is not visible, but the common area outside is covered. DOJ officials say the camera would’ve captured anyone approaching or leaving.
Only one guard is seen going near Epstein’s cell between 10:39 PM and 10:41 PM. No one else enters that area until breakfast delivery the next morning.
At 6:33 AM, multiple guards walk toward Epstein’s cell — after he was already dead.
FBI Says It’s Settled
The footage release comes after FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, a Trump ally, pushed to fulfill Trump’s campaign promise to release the truth.
“There’s just nobody there,” Bongino said.
“No DNA, no fingerprints, no tips, no suspects, no accomplices — nothing.”
The FBI says Epstein’s death was suicide by hanging and denied any existence of a blackmail list.
A memo added that no evidence supports claims Epstein used a “client list” to control elites.
Prince Andrew and Ghislaine
With the DOJ officially shutting the case, Prince Andrew and others will face no charges.
The royal settled with Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre for millions but denied all allegations.
Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein’s close associate, remains the only one in prison, serving 20 years for trafficking minors.
Cameras Failed, Guards Slept
Despite the “clear as day” footage, critical failures still happened the night Epstein died:
-
His cellmate was removed and never replaced.
-
Guards were asleep at their desks and falsified records.
-
Two cameras malfunctioned and another’s footage was “unusable.”
-
Protocols were broken — Epstein’s body was moved before proper documentation.
Two weeks before his death, Epstein was found unconscious in his cell with injuries to his neck — another alleged suicide attempt.
Bondi Promised More — Delivered Nothing
Earlier this year, Attorney General Pam Bondi said flight logs and names would be released and would “make you sick.”
But the documents failed to deliver. No shocking revelations. No names. No justice.
