House Rep. Reveals ‘At Least 200’ Undercover Fed Operatives Set Up Trump Trap on Jan 6

According to Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), there were “at least 200” undercover federal agents among the crowd at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The lawmaker further stated that some of the operatives were “dressed as Trump supporters” and were inside the Capitol prior to the breach.

“The FBI was not just participating in the January 6th acts from within. I suspect they had over 200 agents embedded in the crowd, including agents or, as they would call it, human assets inside the Capitol dressed as Trump supporters before the doors were opened,” Higgins told Newsmax presenter Chris Salcedo.

Agents efficiently entered online chat groups, forums, and social media platforms where demonstrations against COVID regulations and objections to the 2020 election were discussed, according to Higgins.

“And when you track the text threads and the communications within those groups and find the origins of suggestions of potential violence or an active occupation of the Capitol on January 6th, you’ll find that those messages were led by members of the groups that ended up to be the FBI agents that had infiltrated the group,” Higgins said.

“So the FBI’s involvement was deep, not just on J6, but on the days and weeks and months prior.”

Earlier in November, Higgins pressed FBI Director Christopher Wray over the presence of undercover officers on January 6. The FBI chief has continually declined to say how many agents were among the crowd, while former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund has indicated that he was aware of anything between 30 and 40 FBI operatives or DHS personnel.

Higgins asked Wray about two busses that lacked identification, referring to them as “ghost busses,” a phrase used by police enforcement. “These (ghost) buses are nefarious in nature and were filled with FBI informants dressed as Trump supporters, deployed onto our Capitol on Jan. 6,” Higgins told the crowd.

Wray did not contradict Higgins’ assertion, but he did say that no FBI agents were involved in “the violence at the Capitol” on January 6.

According to court documents, at least twenty FBI and ATF agents were embedded around the capitol building on January 6.

The revelation about the number of FBI and ATF agents was made in a footnote to a motion to dismiss submitted by the defense in United States v. Thomas Caldwell (U.S. v. Elmer Stewart Rhodes). It is based on witness testimony, un-Mirandized statements, and multiple 302s:

Literally tens of thousands of private communications within the Oath Keepers organization have been provided, including encrypted messages specifically addressing preparations for J6. Additionally, multiple 302s, witness statements, un-Mirandized statements, etc. from multiple Oath Keeper related witnesses and defendants have been reviewed. At least 20 FBI and ATF assets were embedded around the Capitol on J6. Additionally, discovery proves that the Oath Keepers were being monitored and recorded prior to J6.

The motion to dismiss contains no further information on the “20 FBI and ATF assets,” but it is a figure that confirms there were more federal agents embedded at the capitol on January 6 than previously known. The admission into court of the factual statement raises disturbing questions about the FBI’s infiltration of extremist groups that showed up on January 6 to sow chaos at the 2020 election challenges at the Electoral College.

On January 3, 2022, the FBI had ‘secret commandos’ with shoot-to-kill authority training for a contingency such as the Capitol Riots days ahead of the event. Newsweek reported on this in January:

On Sunday, January 3, the heads of a half-dozen elite government special operations teams met in Quantico, Virginia, to go over potential threats, contingencies, and plans for the upcoming Joint Session of Congress. The meeting, and the subsequent deployment of these shadowy commandos on January 6, has never before been revealed.

The report lists the FBI assets that were preparing for the potential of an emergency at the convening of the Electoral College:

The contingency units meeting on January 3 included the FBI’s Hostage Rescue Team, the FBI’s national “Render Safe” team, an FBI SWAT team from the Baltimore Field Office, Special Response Teams from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the U.S. Marshals Service Special Operations Group.

Furthermore, despite all of the FBI’s activities, a Reuters report from August 2021 refutes that there was any ‘centrally coordinated’ plot to overturn the results of the 2020 election.

Indeed, that was the entire point of the election challenges during the convening of the Electoral College.

If Donald Trump wanted to overturn the 2020 election results, he would not have disrupted the Electoral College. He would have continued to pursue his legal challenges and the political challenge in Congress.

Trump would not have sent in unarmed extremists to disrupt the Electoral College in order to retain power.

This is not only illogical, it is absurd on its face.

Nonetheless, this ridiculous partisan narrative has constituted the basis for prosecuting a former president in what has devolved into a partisan show trial and tantamount to election interference. It is not only ironic, but a disgrace to our entire justice system.
