The Laken Riley Act, which would require ICE to arrest and detain illegal immigrants that have committed theft, burglary or shoplifting until they are deported, has just passed the House for a second time and now will head to President Trump’s desk to be signed.
The bill passed the House with bipartisan support, getting 263 votes for passage.

Still, there were 156 Democrats who refused to vote for it, with some labeling it racism or something.
Senator Mike Lee touted the passage of the bill and said “Justice is coming”:
The Laken Riley Act now goes to President Trump’s desk for signature, and will become law.
No more coddling illegal criminals while letting Americans die.
If you are in our country illegally and prey upon our people, you will be found. Justice is coming.
