Georgia Senator Provides Update from Hospital After Being Violently Shoved to the Ground

Georgia Senator Colton Moore was arrested after trying to enter the Georgia Capitol during a joint session on Thursday.

Senator Moore was banned from the House Chamber last year after he made insulting remarks about late House Speaker David Ralston.

The Georgia Senator claimed the order banning him does not apply to a joint session of the General Assembly so he attempted to enter the Capitol.

Colton Moore was violently shoved to the ground before Georgia State Patrol arrested him.
