Kamala ducking questions about ending the filibuster to pass Green New Deal

Axios is reporting that Kamala is currently ducking their questions about whether she still supports ending the filibuster in order to ram the Green New Deal through the Senate.

In 2019 she made absolutely clear that this is exactly what she supported:

Axios asked her campaign about this and they’ve received no response. They say her campaign is also refusing interviews to discuss this.

In 2019, then-Sen. Kamala Harris pledged as president to eliminate Senate filibuster rules to pass a multi-trillion dollar Green New Deal to transform U.S. energy and climate policy.

Now, Harris’ campaign declined to say if she would push for such a reform if she is president.

Harris has left a lot of question marks about what she’d do as president and her policy priorities since she entered the campaign on July 21.

Her campaign has been dodging questions about whether she still supports many of her past positions on issues.

That includes:

In an interview that aired Tuesday on Wisconsin Public, Harris reiterated that she supported amending the Senate filibuster to restore abortion rights protections nationwide.

The campaign declined to make Harris available for an interview about her position on the filibuster and the Green New Deal.

She simply refuses to answer the tough questions hoping she can glide into the Oval Office this way. Unfortunately too many reporters are refusing to hold her accountable for ducking these serious questions. Articles like this are okay, but this really is a scandal and that’s how it needs to be covered.
