Kamala’s campaign intentionally lied about JD Vance’s comments regarding health care for veterans in an interview in which he was asked about privatizing the VA (Veterans Affairs).
Here’s what they posted:
Q: Would you consider privatizing veterans health care?
Vance: I think I’d consider it pic.twitter.com/wmjJq59vNJ

Notice how they cut Vance off mid-breath?
Here’s what he actually said…
“I’d think I’d consider an – and Donald Trump was really good at this; he doesn’t get enough credit for this particular innovation – but giving veterans more choice. Let’s say you’re in a rural hospital and your closest VA is 120 miles away. Why force a veteran to drive 2.5 hours to that VA facility when he can get cheaper and good care right it in his own backyard. So I do think that we ought to open up choice and optionality for veterans. I think there are areas where the VA actually works very well so I wouldn’t say get rid of the whole thing. I would say give people more choice. I think you’ll save money in the process and you’ll also give veterans a lot more optionality.”
Now lets take a look at the 30 seconds that came right after Kamala HQ cut off the clip in which @JDVance explicitly says that he doesn’t support privatizing the VA and wants to expand healthcare options for vets, something Trump did during his first termpic.twitter.com/fNPev8jVs8 https://t.co/uwQHSYNaiv

Vance never said he’d consider privatizing veterans health care. They lied. Instead he said he’d consider giving veterans more choices, which he suggests would be better for veterans and better for the VA and that he opposes getting rid of the VA altogether.
