Kamala Harris’s husband’s first marriage ended after he got his children’s nanny pregnant.
Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff had an affair with a blonde nanny, who also taught at their children’s exclusive private school, while still married to his first wife, Kerstin.
The woman, Najen Naylor, 47, did not deny the story when approached by reporters at her home in the New York millionaires’ playground, The Hamptons.
She would not comment, except to say, ‘I’m kind of freaked out right now.’
A close friend with firsthand knowledge of the affair and pregnancy revealed that Naylor did not keep the child. However, her social media features a video of a mysterious baby girl named Brook from 2009, the year the child would have been born.
Another friend, Stacey Brooks, who had twin boys around the same time Naylor was expecting, did not deny any of the claims. However, she said she would not share any additional information without Naylor’s permission.
The explosive news is reportedly causing concern within Harris’s campaign, coming at a time when she has allegedly surpassed Donald Trump in several polls and is intensifying her efforts to win over voters for the November election.
Emhoff, 59, and movie producer ex-wife Kerstin, 57, ended their 16-year marriage in 2009 when she discovered the affair, the sources said. Their daughter Ella was 10 and son Cole was 15 at the time.
Sources said that after the affair, Naylor was forced to leave her teaching position at The Willows, an exclusive private elementary school in Culver City, California, where she had been teaching the Emhoff children and working as a nanny for the couple.
A mother who sent her children to the school before 2009 said she was aware of the affair, and though she was disgusted by Emhoff, she only had positive words for Naylor, who had taught her children and nannied them on family vacations.
“She was a lovely person, a great teacher to my kids,” the mother, who asked to remain anonymous said.
Another friend with intimate knowledge of the scandal, confirmed the affair with Emhoff, but said that Naylor did not keep the baby.
