On Monday, former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene sparked curiosity with a post announcing a “new chapter” in Costa Rica alongside her fiancé, Brian Glenn, ex-White House correspondent for the Right Side Broadcasting Network.
The post featured a charming photo of two coffee mugs overlooking a beautiful ocean view, accompanied by the caption expressing her gratitude for this new beginning.
This announcement came right after Glenn stepped down from his job, coinciding with ongoing public debate regarding Greene’s plans after her earlier resignation from Congress.
Right-wing activist Laura Loomer quickly seized the moment, alleging Greene had “fled” Georgia based on unverified claims about selling her home in Rome, Georgia. Loomer suggested the sale was for $1.1 million in March 2026, with Greene purportedly purchasing a $5 million property in Costa Rica. In response, Greene clarified via an X post that she remains in Georgia and is merely vacationing in Costa Rica.
Moreover, Greene rebuffed Loomer’s accusations of “insider trading,” affirming that her wealth comes from her family’s construction business. She declared, “I’ve never been involved in ‘insider trading’,” emphasizing her compliance with all legal guidelines regarding her financial dealings.
In her post, Greene expressed her and Glenn’s admiration for Costa Rica, calling it “a beautiful country filled with beautiful people” and stated they relish their travels, promising to share many pictures and videos from their adventures.
Lying Larry is at it again. No wonder they won’t give her a White House hard pass to be part of the WH press pool. Lying Larry is not a journalist.

Since exiting Congress—during which she criticized Trump Administration immigration strategies and even commended Nancy Pelosi—Greene has shifted her stance, becoming openly anti-Trump.
In various media appearances, including on shows like “The View,” she has categorized her prior unwavering support for Trump as a mistake, raising questions about certain decisions made during his administration.
