President Donald Trump announced on Monday that Susie Wiles, his White House Chief of Staff, has received a diagnosis of early-stage breast cancer. Despite this challenge, she will continue her duties while undergoing treatment.
Trump shared the news via Truth Social, commending Wiles for her resilience as she embarks on her medical journey while remaining active in her role.
“Susie Wiles is an incredible Chief of Staff, a great person, and one of the strongest individuals I know, but unfortunately, she has been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer,” Trump stated. Wiles chose to pursue immediate treatment rather than postpone care.
“She has an excellent medical team, and her prognosis is very promising!” he added.
Wiles intends to remain deeply involved in her responsibilities at the White House, with Trump indicating she plans to work full time during her treatment.
“Her decision to continue her vital work during this period displays her strength and commitment,” Trump said.
Wiles has been a trusted political ally for Trump, recognized as a pivotal figure within his inner circle. Her reputation for discipline and operational strength has earned her significant influence over the president’s political strategies.
