President Donald Trump recently adopted a resolute tone, promising significant consequences for Iran while the U.S. and Israel intensify their military efforts against its regime.
In a post on Truth Social, he stated, “We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically, and otherwise, yet, if you read the Failing New York Times, you would incorrectly think that we are not winning.” His comments came after a critical piece from The New York Times regarding U.S. strategy in Iran.
Trump described the current military landscape as favoring the U.S., declaring, “Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated.” He expressed confidence in the overwhelming strength and resources of the U.S. military.
Then he issued a striking warning that sparked widespread attention on social media.

“Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today,” he cautioned, framing his actions as long-overdue retribution for decades of Iranian hostility.
He remarked on Iran’s history of violence, stating, “They’ve been killing innocent people all over the world for 47 years, and now I, as the 47th President of the United States of America, am killing them. What a great honor it is to do so!”
The rising energy prices due to Iran’s provocations in the Strait of Hormuz also drew Trump’s attention. He noted the U.S. as the top oil producer, suggesting that increased prices would bolster U.S. revenues.
However, he emphasized that his main concern remains the prevention of Iran acquiring nuclear capabilities. “I won’t ever let that happen!” he asserted.
As Trump hinted at an escalation, reports from regional allies indicated ongoing threats from Iranian drones and missiles. For instance, Saudi Arabia reported intercepting 50 Iranian drones, according to Fox News.
Israel also claimed significant victories against Iran’s military capabilities, with over 250 UAVs reportedly dismantled.
“The IDF expanded strikes on the Iranian terror regime’s UAV array,” an IDF spokesman stated, detailing the proactive measures taken against impending threats.
