Melania Trump Shares New Details On Barron’s Political ‘Transformation’

First Lady Melania Trump joined Fox News’ “The Five” to discuss the release of her biographical film, life in the White House during President Trump’s second term and Barron’s political “transformation.”

A key portion of the discussion centered on the production of the documentary. Trump explained her hands-on role, stating, “I led the production and I had a great team around me and very talented director. But you know that was my life so whatever I did the cameras were following me from morning till evening and everything what I needed to do: organizing moving back to the White House, my family, preparing for inauguration, my business, my philanthropy. So all in all establishing the East Wing office of hiring people. So all you will see that in 20 days.”

The first lady credited director Brett Ratner for capturing her vision on the film. “He was very talented and we had other suggestions in looking into it. He was the one that I said most important is that he puts out my idea what I have and cinematic film that I want to achieve. So he was great to work with.”

Melania further revealed that President Trump had no involvement in the making of the film, though he did “love” the final product.

The conversation later shifted to family matters, at which point the first lady revealed that the president’s youngest son, Barron, 19, has become increasingly involved with political matters.

“He is 19, almost 20 years old. I’m very proud of him and he’s an incredible young man. He understands now. He’s involved. He knows what’s going on in the world. He talks with his dad. He talks with me,” she said. “He was very involved in the campaign. He gave him all of the ideas, who he needs to talk to, all of these YouTubers and, you know, podcasts. So he was really a smart mind behind it.”

President Trump has previously credited Barron with giving his campaign the idea to appear on the podcast circuit ahead of the 2024 presidential election. Trump sat down with some of the most popular podcast hosts in the nation in the lead-up to the election, including those hosted by Joe Rogan, Theo Von, Shawn Ryan and several others.

The strategy was heavily praised by political analysts following the president’s election win, especially when contrasted with former Vice President Kamala Harris’ carefully curated campaign that largely avoided sit-down interviews and podcasts.

“I mean, he tells me about all the hot guys, people I’d never heard of, ‘Dad, that guy is hot,’” Trump told Fox News when asked about Barron’s involvement in the strategy last year.
